Risk Assessment and Evacuation Process

 

The Ashcombe Village Club Committee has created several documents below to not only serve as a record of the significant findings of a fire risk assessment to comply with but also to assist those wishing to hire the Ashcombe Village Club with advice and guidance regarding Fire Safety and evacuation.

We have used with in this report, the term ‘official guidance’ this refers to the Fire Safety Risk Assessment Guides published by HM Government. Other relevant guidance will be referred to by name.

 

Unless otherwise stated, in this report the terms ‘fire resisting’ or ‘fire resistant’ are as defined in British Standard BS 476-22: Fire tests on building materials and structures. Methods for determination of the fire resistance of non-loadbearing elements of construction.
